An instrument to measure global solar radiation with a pyranometer is being build by LB8AI. The instrument will be placed at the club station at Verigas. Data will be collected continuously and be presented at arcticsolar.no/en
Initially a pyranometer with a foto diode (Kipp Zonen SP Lite) will be used. At a later date a Kipp & Zonen CMP11 pyranometer based on a thermopile will be added that unlike a foto diode has no spectral dependency.
